Care that comes first

Animal Welfare

Animal welfare is about the physical health and the behavioural needs of the birds. Widely used frameworks speak of good feeding, good housing, good health and the ability to express natural behaviour.

Ostriches are curious, social and easily startled. Thoughtful design of their environment and calm, consistent handling make a real difference to their wellbeing.
