Our History

Every association has a founding story: the people who started it, the reasons they came together and the milestones along the way.

We want to tell that story properly — with dates, documents and names that can be confirmed — rather than fill this page with assumptions.

    Ostrich farming in Romania

    Ostrich farming has been practised in Europe for several decades, usually on small and medium-sized farms. In Romania, as elsewhere, breeders have had to adapt the needs of a species native to Africa to a continental climate with cold winters and hot summers — making shelter, ground conditions and winter feeding particular concerns.
